American Fork Canyon Winter Engagement Photos | Utah County Photographer

I love taking winter engagement photos in American Fork Canyon. It’s one of the best places to go year-round and super convenient for folks (okay, I never say folks hahaha) in Utah County. Kayla and Kyle decided to go to Tibble Fork Reservoir not too far up the canyon. We walked on the frozen lake to take the majority of the photos. I love the way the mountains look in the background and the snowy evergreen trees. We walked over to get some photos with Mt. Timpanogos in the background, but it was extremely windy so we moved to another spot by the fence. While I was dressed as a marshmallow, Kayla and Kyle were so brave with the cold wearing their nice clothes. They were super fun to hang out with! I’m so excited for their wedding this April.

If you’re wanting to take engagement photos in American Fork Canyon this winter, there is a $6 fee, or you can use a national parks pass. Please recreate responsibly here as I always see litter in the summer months. Utah is way too beautiful to trash! Let’s keep this spot beautiful and pick up trash when we see it and not litter 🙂
