Church of Dirt Park City Wedding | Park City Photographer

December 10, 2020

You might be wondering, “what in the world is a wedding at the Church of Dirt in Park City?” Well – it’s this little community place to get married on the top of Empire Pass in Park City. When Laura and Reid reached out to me about photographing their wedding on October 11 at the Church of Dirt, I knew it was fate because that’s my anniversary AND the place I got married. They hired a second photographer, who is my husband, so it was super special for us to get to photograph a wedding at the same spot we got married on our anniversary 🙂 But enough about us, let’s talk about this amazing couple and wedding day. Laura and Reid are both from the midwest. They literally met as strangers on a ski lift at Brighton Resort (I mean, what!?) and started dating long-distance until Laura move out west. Now they have a little family consisting of their dog, Bodie. Their wedding day was truly amazing. It snowed the night before and was FREEZING, but everyone was troopers! We quickly took some photos after the ceremony before heading to their super fun and cozy reception at Silver Fork Lodge.
